I couldn't post this without acknowledging the birthday of sweet Ava Rosemeyer, who would have been ten today. Ava was the daughter of the effortlessly talented Sheye Rosemeyer. Sheye, as in, the very blogger who sparked my love for photography. I've heard people talk about "life-defining" moments and cynically deemed myself a non-believe of such. But, at age fifteen, I vividly remember reading this blog from start to finish. I remember thinking it was strange to find such comfort and inspiration from something I thought I couldn't relate to. The motivation that dwelled from that day forward was awakening. I will always feel indebted to this lady, and her child who isn't physically on Earth with us today. Thank you Sheye & family, for enabling me to see my siblings in a different way, for inspiration and everything that came and comes after. My love is with you all today.
