"Thats it. You have it. My whole heart, for my whole life."
Well, my apologies because it's now mid-March and this beautiful Al Ru Farm wedding was my second to last of 2016, on December 30th. I delivered this beautiful day back in January and have been meaning to blog it since.
Tristan & Stephanie put on such a low key day, filled with so much dancing and high energy. I remember at our last communication before the wedding, Steph said: "I just want formalities done, I want to dance." And that we did. That's how a wedding should be, right?
T&S were just so clearly excited to be marrying one another and I loved that. The other stand out for their day was Steph learning a song on piano to surprise Tristan with during speeches. It melted my heart, so I can only imagine how Tristan felt. Love, love, love.
As I write this, I'm seriously putting off packing my suitcase. Tuesday morning Arky & I fly off to Hong Kong for a week. I am so excited for this trip. Mainly because we have both been working so hard since the wedding season kicked off in August last year & Etta Store launched in December. I love what I do but it requires 100% effort 100% of the time. On the long drive back from Currency Creek last night, I was reflecting on the last few months. It's been so good and so tiring. I am blessed and battling all at the same time. The balance is hard. Being a one woman show (most of the time) is tricky and incredible. Taking care of myself is paramount, and travel really does keep me alive.
So with that, my friends, I will return to you late next week! Hopefully with several photographs to share of our adventures.
