"What I cannot adequately express in words, I will show you."
Caitlin and Billie and half an hour on a lovely overcast day. Because I care so deeply about capturing emotion, I often don't worry too much about where I am shooting. Some people think that's crazy. To me, give me good light and some greenery and love. After all, I don't need fancy if I have pure, jumping-out-at-me-love, to photograph.
"She was the beautiful dream I had been searching for. The one to wake me up." - Atticus
What a special evening this was. Rachel and her daughter Eloise have the sweetest relationship, one that is so beautiful & visibly strong. But then there's her grandparents, Elaine & Jeff, who also came along for the evening. Their love for her spills right out in front of you, and Eloise replicates it with such a force. Witnessing this sort of thing is what keeps me coming back again and again.
These sweet souls came all the way from Canada and were such fun to be around. Though Adelaide had been experiencing some pretty horrific weather, we were so lucky to have a beautiful evening last Wednesday. You know those couple of minutes just after the sun sets on a clear day? Those are priceless, those are better than gold.
"There is you, and there is me. But together, there is us. And that's the best part of me."
I had the best time with these three at one of my very favourite parks in here in Adelaide. Lily is the sweetest, with such a big personality and the most doting parents. I felt lucky to just be able to capture what they don't get to see.
