Katherine has been working in her field for over ten years. Photographing weddings & families all over the world, she is renowned for her simplistic and elegant style.
She is currently based between Brooklyn, New York & Adelaide, Australia.
Weddings
Katherine works closely with her wedding clients in the lead up to the wedding day to ensure the timeline is perfected and reflective of the needs of the particular couple. On the day her approach is a beautiful mix of documentary & naturally posed. She recognises that many of the organic moments of a wedding day are those which are cherished most while also understanding clients may feel nervous and apprehensive about being photographed professionally. Using her experience, Katherine prides herself on her ability to make her couples feel comfortable.
Newborns
Newborn sessions with Katherine are timeless and natural. She uses minimalistic posing and natural light to create an elegant outcome which will be cherished for the years to come. Having worked with newborns for over ten years, Katherine is extremely experienced in settling & posing babies. Katherine’s newborn sessions are often booked up to six months in advance. Clients book in as their ‘due date’ but the shoot date is selected upon the arrival of baby.
Families
Family sessions often take place at a beautiful beach or park setting where your family can run around, play and interact without the confines of a studio. Katherine focuses heavily on natural photographs but will provide enough direction to assist achieving this. Katherine’s family sessions are often booked up to six months in advance.
